Bhaktapur, 29th Jestha 2081 - The two-day workshop on the "Impact of Climate Change on Livelihood of People" concluded at Bhaktapur Multiple Campus, Doodhpati, marking a significant milestone in raising awareness and fostering dialogue on climate change issues. The workshop, held from 28th to 29th Jestha, brought together teachers, students, and experts to delve into the complexities of climate change and its effects on livelihoods.
Under the esteemed leadership of Campus Chief Dr. Kabita Luitel Bhattarai, serving as the Chief Guest, and RMC Head Prof. Dr. Arjun Kumar Gautam, Chairperson of the workshop, the event featured insightful presentations and discussions led by experts in the field. Among the distinguished resource persons were Environment Scientist Prof. Dr. Uddhav Khadka and Anthropologist Mr. Dhruba Laudari, who provided valuable insights into the sociological and environmental aspects of climate change.
The workshop aimed to educate participants, empower teachers and students, foster community engagement, and promote actionable change regarding climate change issues. Through interactive lectures, group discussions, hands-on workshops, and case studies, participants gained a deep understanding of climate change and explored strategies for mitigation and adaptation.
